One advantage of having computer software is that you can instantly see what's going on with your company.
Probably the most useful management report is the Manager's Financial Report which is presented in the Readable Accounts Format (RAF)*.
This report is easy to understand and yet can still be handed to your accountant\bookkeeper as it contains all the vital financial information for each transaction type and nominal account group.
From the reports menu choose Accounting > Managers Financial Report.
Enter the period start and end date.
The normal date format is '31/12/2015' and Transactor Lab Manager will accept expressions such as 'last month start, last month end, today, today - 7' etc.
